Health is at the very core of much of the world’s poverty and suffering. Deadly diseases like AIDS and malaria are absolutely devastating in many areas, leaving parents without children, and many orphans who must fend for themselves.
ADRA works with men, women and children through evidence-based, community-driven, family-centered, sustainable health interventions. We adopt a community-level approach to address the unique needs of populations by improving health behaviors, building the capacity of health professionals and health facilities, and improving the quality of health resources. Beyond the community level, ADRA works to strengthen health systems by supporting district- and national-level facilities and staff to improve the quality of services.
